Sadly I've dropped selling Stampin' Up! Some day I hope that I'll be able to do it again but right now it just wasn't working out for me. So as a result I've removed some links and you'll see more changes in the coming while on my blog..
I know I haven't be super faithful in blogging here but hopefully I'll be able to post some more soon.
Right now I'm considering what my options are and what type of topics I want to blog about.
With that all being said, I still plan to use Stampin' Up! products for my projects (obviously since that is all I own for the time being and probably won't switch to other products anyway, it's still a huge part of my life, and crafty projects!) So feel free to stay and read anyway :)

Blogging absence
So sorry that I haven't been posting lately. The honest truth is since having a baby + working full-time = little extra time for blogging + crafting/creating. Since I don't have time for any extra's sometimes the least important things have to go. Which for me is the extras such as blogging, family is definitely way more important and takes a lot more of my time now that I'm busy with work as well. Hopefully as T get's older I'll find more time for fun things such as blogging and crafting again and I'll start posting projects again!
I have made a few cards since she has been born and as always taken a picture of them I just never seem to find the time to post them so that you can enjoy them as well :(
I'm going to leave it at this for now and we'll see what happens here in the next few months! Hopefully you are still all creating and crafting away!

Dr. Appointment.
I just had to come back and update that I was pretty stinking close with my guess for Taylina's weight! She was 16lbs 13 oz!! yup, we've got a growing little girl, she gained 2 lbs in the last month. I really hope she slows down, because we are having a hard time keeping her in her outfits very long! Not only that she's getting heavy to carry around.
I've started to take her out of her carseat when we go to the store if I have John with me, or I make sure I wear my Moby wrap so I can pop her in there instead of having to deal with a carseat. Figured out a long time ago a carseat in a shopping cart isn't ideal it takes all the space needed for groceries, and I refuse to put it up on the top section.. pretty unsafe if you think about it. Not only that I can't see over it if I would put it up there!

Update-ish
Well it has been a while since I've posted a personal update on here. Seems like once you have a baby they take most of the free time you've got and what they don't take that means you try to straighten the house up while baby is sleeping. The fact that I'm working full-time as well doesn't help.
Anyway, so things are going well here.. we are enjoying our precious little daughter. She is so much fun. A few weeks ago she found her thumb and now she loves to suck on it when she is going to sleep or tired. Then she rolled from her tummy to her back and a few days later from her back to her tummy. She has also discovered her toes first she spent just a week staring at them when ever she was sitting in her Super Seat or in her bouncy chair, now she pulls her legs up so she can grab them. So much fun, cute, and adorable stuff. I know I keep thinking to myself that it's unreal how cute she is and such a blessing. We are definitely enjoying every minute of our time with her!
Well.... until she doesn't sleep at night like I'd like her to but it all comes with it. My mom gave me this fabulous book to read, it is called Loving the Little Years ~Motherhood in the Trenches, by Rachel Jankovic. I definitely recommend this book, very helpful and it really helps put things into perspective and makes those night time feedings not so bad after all.
Other than that our daughter is growing like a "weed". We'll find out how much she weighs next Wednesday at the Dr.s but I wouldn't be shocked in the least if it's in the 16-17lbs range. We'll see how good my guess is :) Now here's a picture of her

Time flies!!
On Sunday morning I was sitting in my chair feeding Taylina when I looked at the clock and thought to myself, Wow! a week ago at this time we had just had to make the decision that it was going to have to be a c-section. We hadn't even met our precious little daughter yet! Our life sure had changes since she has been born, it seems like everything revolves around her, and her schedule.
So far things are going pretty well, my parents came for a quick visit last week which was super nice! It sure made a difference having my Mom there to help out. She helped me with nursing and things definitely got much better with that after she gave me some pointers. Sure they help you in the hospital but they don't tell you what to look for to know that they are really drinking etc.
For the rest I'm definitely taking it easy, puttering around doing the odd little thing here and there but for the most part just sitting in my chair.. feeding baby.. and taking a nap once or twice a day.. and doing the same thing all over again. I think the worst part is not being allowed to lift anything other than baby and little things. Especially when I'm feeling like I'd like to do a few more little things... pretty easy to tell myself no though right now since I know it'd be too much. I'm sure it'll get to be much tougher eventually!
One thing I've figured out though is that I intensely dislike epidurals! I hated not being able to feel anything for hours after.. which isn't a bad thing considering I had a c-section and that was painful enough. That being said if I had to go through labor again and have a natural deliver it is not on my list of want to haves to deal with the pain. The fact that you can't feel anything and can't move an inch, even rolling onto your side yourself is miserable! For the first day I had pain meds through my IV, but by the next afternoon I'd had enough of that and didn't think I needed that much for pain killers anymore so I went to Ibuprofen which I took for the next day or two and then that was it. The incision is still painful especially when I tweak it just a bit...it took a while to figure out how to get in and out of bed without having to say ouch for every move, but I think I've got it figure out now :)
Anyway... I'm off to take a quick little nap while Taylina is sleeping since I spent more time up with her last night than I wanted too. She wouldn't settle so I didn't get to sleep until after 12:30, finally I just sat in the recliner and fell asleep with her in my arms. Then I was up at 2:00 to feed her again, which at least only took an hour and then I was able to put her in her bassinet so that I could at least sleep in bed for the rest of the night. Of course only to be woken up by her at 7:00 again this morning since she was hungry.
So that is just a bit of an update on things around here.

Update on Me - Nesting..
Well I guess I should do at least one last update on how I'm doing before baby arrives sometime in the next week or so. (I'm hoping for sooner rather than later but who knows) Where should I start.... I'm thinking with my gall bladder problems.
For the most part the last few attacks I've had in the last month have been a lot more mild, and thankfully only once a week, unlike the multiple times a week that I was dealing with for a while. I'm going to say that this is because of all the different things I've been taking to try help, and I'm also going to say that I'm considering it a success right now! Then last Sunday was a fabulous day for me because I didn't even have an attack, which it's been a long time since I've had an attack free Sunday. Definitely made my day/night. I didn't have to go to work tired/exhausted because I'd spent 2-3 hours awake-ish dealing with the after effects of having an attack, plus it just makes me happy! I'm bruised enough up in that area right now thanks to baby thinking it's a wonderful place to plant his/her feet all the time. So that's the gall bladder update.
Now for the update on how I'm feeling these days. I do tire much quicker these last few weeks, but that's to be expected. Between working full-time and coming home and having to deal with cooking supper and cleaning house, doing laundry etc. Some days there really isn't enough energy to go around!
Last week Saturday I had hoped to get a bunch of things done which didn't happen because of my day going from busy to busier when I ended up getting a "surprise" shower from the greenhouse where I used to work. Definitely nice but it has a way of making life busier than usual when you already have a ton of things planned for the day. In the afternoon we had to find a gift for my Mother in law for her birthday and then later we had maternity pictures scheduled. So definitely more than enough happening that day. So much for anything that was on my list of to do things for the day getting done!
This Saturday I decided that enough was enough and I wasn't scheduling anything for the day, other than things that I had to get done for myself or for baby. I had a few things to return so I did that first thing this morning. Then I came home and decided that I was tired of the "mess" in my house and it really needed to be cleaned much better than it had been in the last few weeks. So today has officially become a "nesting" day according to my Mom :) The entire house hasn't been cleaned yet but I'm pretty happy with the progress I made since by the time I'm done for today the entire upstairs will have been cleaned a lot better than it has been in a while! Considering that, I'm going to say baby is allowed to come any time now! A clean house definitely makes me happy :)
What I didn't get done though because I started cleaning my house so well is the binding sewn on the quilt for the crib. Good thing baby doesn't need that right away because I'd be in trouble if that was the case. Even though that didn't get done, and my downstairs floor didn't get done I'm still pretty happy with how things went today. I even got the pansy's planted in my wine barrels and got to enjoy the gorgeous weather while I was at it!! :) Enough said.. I'm off to try finish the last few things around here and then it's time for some much needed relaxing and sitting back with my feet up since I can tell I've been up on them all day!

The joy of my life! :)
So a lot had changed in this past week! First of all I applied for a job advertised in the paper last week, just figured hey whatever I'll throw my resume out there. Of course I never expected to even be considered for the position because I'm due in about 6 weeks!! Got a phone call the end of the week asking me to come for an interview on Monday. So I figure, okay that's all fine.. I'll tell them right up front that I'm due in about 6 weeks/mid-April. They'll interview me but be like "nope, she's way to close to having her baby", end of story.
Well apparently it wasn't the end of the story, Wednesday evening while I was out they called and John talked to them. They mentioned that they were calling in regards to a job offer. When I came home John told me this and I was freaking out... kinda like OH NO what have I done!!!!! Since I came home after the time she said I could call back I sat on pins and needles all day Thursday until about 2:30 or so. Called, and yes indeed they were offering me the position. Starting on Monday, with a very decent $$ for around where we live, if they are happy then after 3 months I get a $1 raise. I work until baby get's here, then I've got at least 6 weeks off, and then..... back to work but.... :)
When I had the interview one request I had also made was if I'd be able to take the baby with me to work. So they discussed it as a family and decided that for at least the first 4-6 months I could, after that I guess I need to figure something else out. So all in all after they bent over backwards to accommodate my request I couldn't really say NO I don't want the job! (well I could have but you get the idea)
Quite honestly I'm freaking out a bit right now! No joke! The good thing is that I've got pretty much everything that HAS to be done before baby get's here finished... everything that's not well it'll still be there later. Sure we still have to buy a few things for the baby room that we need before baby get's here, but that can be done in the next few weeks yet. Sewing projects that I figured I had lots of time to get done, well they can wait and the ones that I'd like to try get finished I guess we'll find out how much energy I have in the evening hours to work on them. What get's done, get's done and like I said whatever doesn't well that's okay.
So by now I'm sure you are wondering what the job actually is. It's a secretarial position for data entry on a dairy farm. Since I had 2 years of secretarial experience, and grew up on a dairy farm ~ two big reasons I decided to apply.
Even though the situation isn't completely ideal, because I'd much rather be a full-time SAHM the fact of life is that if I'm going to get a job and possibly save some extra money, now is the time to do it not 5 years down the road.
Now as far as baby things that still are on the to do list, and these can be done later:
~ crib sheets
~ binding on crib quilt
~ finish painting the tree on the wall
That's about the list of things that need to be done for the baby room. So I think I've done pretty good!
So that's my latest news!

Gall Bladder attacks :(
I've decided gall bladder attacks are for the birds! lol :) Quite honestly, after having morning sickness from 5 weeks till 18 weeks, and feeling miserable even though I was on anti-nausea medication, I didn't think it could be much worse. Apparently little did I know, that a few months after feeling much better and not having morning sickness I would be battling the next thing.
At first it was unknowingly, I had 2 gall bladder attacks, and figured hey whatever it's just the flu and a super bad stomach ache etc. Then I had my 3rd gall bladder attack, and started trying to figure it out.. between talking to my mom, and my mother-in-law, and my mom talking to someone who is into Holistic health we finally figured out what might possibly be going on. So at my next Dr's appointment I mentioned it. Right away they sent me for an ultrasound to get it checked out. In the mean time I'm already about 29 weeks pregnant. The ultrasound showed multiple small stones, but at least the rest of my gall bladder looked healthy!
Looking back I've figured out that my first attack was probably sometime around the time I was 4 1/2-5 months pregnant. Since the attacks were so sporadic and as long as I vomited it was over in about an hour or so it didn't seem like a huge deal...so I never really mentioned it to my Dr. either. BIG MISTAKE! Not that it would have changed anything, but I would have started trying different things to "cleanse" my liver and gall bladder sooner!
The problem is the sporadic-ness is kind of a thing of the past. In the past two weeks alone I've had 4 attacks. That is out of the total of 8 I've had now. Some of the attacks I've definitely been able to say it's diet related so I've cut out a lot of different foods. Makes eating kind of lame at times lol. Then like my attack this past Monday, I've got no idea why. At 5:30 in the morning when I haven't eaten since 6:00 the evening before... totally frustrating! One bonus is that because this attack happened on a week day I could get in to my Dr's office and now at least I have pain meds for when the attack gets really bad. Before I had nothing, and it was an emergency room trip, a shot of some narcotic of some sort in the hip/butt. Definitely not a fun shot, my butt was sore for almost 4 days after that, nevermind it makes you so drowsy! UGH! Which we experienced once already.
So in the mean time between tons of research I've been doing and my mom going through her books I've started trying things. Also sometimes things call for desperate measures. So here is what I've been doing (honestly if you are a Dr. I respect what you do and you don't have to agree with anything I'm doing either, but as long as it's safe for me and baby I'm doing it).
First of all it means a complete change in diet. Some things don't matter so much for everyone, but you need to figure out what triggers the attacks - John tells me I need to start keeping a food diary lol :)
Food that is out - for me anyway:
Onions
Eggs
Fried foods
Greasy foods - includes all greasy meats etc.
Tomato's
Coffee
Citrus Fruits - Pineapple
Cheese
Peppers
corn
cabbages - includes cauliflower and broccoli
spicy foods
Pork
What I've also done is changed what I eat together - No starches with protein, and if I have starches that means I'm eating only veggies with it.
Any meat that I eat is very low in fat content. Comes down to fish, turkey/chicken and then the poultry is usually boiled in water. I've been trying to find somewhere to get lamb and try that because lamb is also low in fat. So we'll see how that goes.
I eat a lot of veggie/lettuce salads with carrots/cucumbers/celery and almonds for dinner with some meat.
Other than food changes to my diet, I've also been taking different herbs etc. to try see if I can get the stones to break up and pass (yes, anyone in the medical field who doesn't believe me can criticize me I'm okay with that, but like I said earlier I do what I know is safe for me and baby).
So I've been taking:
Vitamin C
Magnesium
Milk Thistle
Enzymes - w/every animal product I eat
Apple cider vinegar
as well as from the Dr.
Ursodiol
and then I just ordered (from the homeopath)
Chelidonium - which is for the liver and gall bladder
I'm to the point I'm willing to try anything.. trust me gall bladder attacks are no joke, and since nothing else can be done at this point I'm doing everything I can to see if something doesn't help. At this point I've got nothing to loose, and believe you me since the only thing I can do is take pain meds when the attacks get bad I'll try everything else to try minimize the attacks as well. So far not successful, but then again it doesn't happen over night!

Update on Baby
It has been a little while since I've done an update post on baby, and baby related things like my bump, so I thought maybe today I should! :)
Baby has been super active the last week or so, definitely a very cool feeling! The way the movements feel have also started to change since baby doesn't have as much space to jab me anymore as he/she grows. Most of the time it isn't really hard kicks and punches anymore, but kind of a rolling movement as you feel the legs and arms moving, then little jabs. Obviously the jabs are much harder than they are when you first start feeling the baby move but still really cool!
The fun part is watching my belly move as baby moves around! The draw back is baby thinks it's always play time.. last night was especially bad. It was 11 at night and I'm laying in bed ready to go to sleep and baby won't stop moving, and I mean baby was hyper or something. Baby had already been moving a lot all evening, and usually when I go to bed he/she will move some but then stop. Not really the case last night.. it was party time!! It was getting so bad that I didn't know how I was going to get to sleep with all the activity :) Finally I rolled over onto my other side, maybe baby got the hint.. I'm not sure but he/she was not longer quite as active and stopped pretty quick after that! At least something worked!
I've also been waking up to baby moving around most mornings. Sometimes as early as 5, other mornings it's 7ish, and sometimes it's around 6. When it's around 7 it's totally okay, but at 5 or 6 in the morning not always cool! :) That all being said feeling baby move is pretty special!
So that is the baby part update.. now some on me!
For the most part things are going pretty good. Recently I've also found out that I've had a gall bladder attack a few times. This is definitely not any fun and is super painful. I've also figured out that super greasy food seems to be what triggers it. Especially when I've had lots of cheese in my spaghetti like I did a few weeks ago! Within an hour I felt horrible, ended up puking etc. and then about 1/2 later it was better! So not cool but I guess it is what it is. Other than that my sciatic nerve has also been bothering me. I'm blaming that on our road trip at Christmas time because that's when it started. I've been wearing a pregnancy support belt to help with that, and seeing the chiropractor, getting massages as well as doing an exercise recommended by a physical therapist.. with a lot of walking for exercise. Between the combination of things it's gotten to be much better, but I still have flare ups that tend to be pretty painful! Other than that I honestly don't have any complaints. I love being pregnant.. in spite of the crazy 10+ weeks of morning sickness, and now this. It is what it is! :)
Now for the bump picture!
So this is my 29 week bump picture ~ I'm about 29.5 weeks now.

What's new with me?!
Well, where should I start.
Sewing: First of all I think I've got way to much going on right now. I'm feeling somewhat stressed out because I have 5 sewing projects that all need to be done by the middle of next week. Not sure how or when I'm going to get them finished but I suppose I will be. A time frame that is given is kinda important. Or, maybe I'll be sitting at home sewing on Thanksgiving Day instead of hanging out with the family! (I'd rather not, but it's a possibility)
Working: Namely house cleaning, this is something I started doing not because I love it.. in fact it definitely isn't one of my favorite things to do for others. The other side of the story is it brings in more money than most jobs would where I live, and I have the convenience of not having to justify buying a second vehicle. I think the vehicle part makes my hubby the happiest :) Anyway... so the house cleaning, well after having lived here for 2+ years and looking around and hardly finding anything. Last week I got 2 phone calls within a day that they were looking for someone. Of course right now I'm not super excited about looking for more things to do because, some days the little things that I need to do are already overwhelming! The good thing, I have a new sister-in-law who needs something to do as well, so we are going to clean this place together :) Get it done in half the time, we both make some money, and we have company while we are working. Seems like good enough of a plan to me!
Baby related: I've been feeling baby move around for a few weeks now. Let's see I want to say it's at least been 3 weeks or so since I first thought to myself that it had to be baby. It's the best feeling ever!!!! I don't know why people say it feels like a butterfly, to me it's more like baby is having a party punching and kicking me LOL :) Just gentle "pop" kinda feeling like a bubble popping. I don't always feel it, and I think John could probably feel it if he had his hand there at the right time. That never seems to happen. Then when he does put his hand there, it's like baby is laughing at him and saying "forget it dad! I'm not kicking for you" haha Another positive thing is, that I finally got off of my medication a few weeks ago as well and everything is going great without it! Makes me a happy camper to finally have my life back to normal without having to take something for it!
Stampin': As you can tell, I keep fairly busy with my Stampin' Up! business as well. I have a monthly class, which forces me to go make projects. Otherwise right now that would be the last thing I would be doing. I've got way to many other things on my plate right now. It makes me sad... but one of these days I'll be spending more time in my craft area finishing my wedding scrapbook, making cards and other fun projects! In the mean time you'll have to be happy with the occasional post that I do on projects that we do with my group! :)
So I think that pretty much covers everything! :)
Wow!
I can't believe that it's November already! After our quick visit to Alberta time seems to have gone even faster. Probably because I've been keeping so busy with sewing! Today I got one more car seat cover done.. 3 more to go! Once that's done I've still got some more to do so I can't even say that I'm close to being done, but it still feels good to get another one done!
One thing that we forgot in Alberta after our last trip was a gorgeous flower arrangement that I had my Oma make for me. I was really sad, but at least this time I made a list of what not to forget at my moms and so we took it along. Now it's nicely hanging on my wall in my living room where we can enjoy it every day!
I'll be back tomorrow with an update on baby, since I have a Dr's appointment in the morning. As well as hopefully getting some more cards - stamping posted!

A quick update on me..
Well, since I posted our little "secret" things have been kinda up and down. I've still been taking the medication from the Dr. for the nausea. Last week, or should I say the beginning of this week I found out the hard way that I'm not ready to be off of them. Thursday I took one... things seemed to go pretty well, so... Friday - Sunday I didn't take any. Sunday I was queasy, but as long as I ate it was fine. Well.... Monday morning....... WAS TERRIBLE! Puking, like way more than I like.. and I couldn't keep anything down. So back to the medication it is. Now I'm back to taking the two a day and things are just fine again.
It's obviously going to be a little longer before I try not taking them again. But hopefully in a few weeks it will be past!!! I keep hoping so anyway. Other than that, energy levels are usually ok, but don't ask me to do too much. If I go do a ton of stuff in one day I pay for it and am super tired! Most days that I don't sleep in a little longer in the mornings I'm taking a nap for about an hour to make it through the day. I'm starting to like naps.. never thought I would say that, as a teen I HATED naps!!!
Then on top of feeling miserable I've got a toothache now. BOOO, what's next. Anyway, so I went to the dentist got some anti-biotics to get rid of the infection. Then in about 5 weeks I need to go in and get a root canal done.. blech.. I guess it needs to be done so I'll get over it. I got to say that I HATE my teeth! I jokingly told John if I could have 1/2 the teeth from someone who doesn't have cavities all the time I would gladly trade (psst namely him) haha.
So that's about all the news there is. Nothing fun but it's life!

I'm back
So we finally got back home yesterday! I'm so glad to be back at home.. there is just something about home that feels so good! Even though visiting family and sight seeing is great it is busy and you don't always get much of a chance to sit back and relax!
Well, now as far as Stampin' Up! goes.. the Holiday Mini order period has started, and now that I've had a chance I've updated the clicky links in my sidebars with the new catalogues. As well as a new promotion for My Digital Studio! Make sure that you enter for the contest, because who wouldn't love FREE MDS products!
I hope to be back later with more of an update.. on our trip and hopefully some stamping!

General Update
Well things have been some what boring yet life seems to have a way of giving me little things to do right now! Some of my family(parents, siblings) came to visit me a week before American Thanksgiving! That was pretty awesome since they also brought along my piano and dining table and chairs! I love it, it makes it feel so much more like home!! :) haha like it wasn't already! I got our big wedding pictures printed..another accomplishment! Christmas cards made... for us and I designed the cards for my Mom & Dad!! :) I love the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Program!!
Anyway the week that my parents were here ended not so great.. I had a sore tooth on Wednesday but didn't think to much of it.. dumb me... anyway by Thursday morning it was really starting to hurt.. :( so I took a tylenol and it didn't even put a dent into the pain!! :( by evening it was just throbbing, and nothing was working for the pain :( booo!! so we had to do a search for a dentist and get a root canal done Friday morning!! I normally hate freezing and let them do anything to me with in reason without it.. haha this time totally unlike me I was like just freeze it up good please!! haha :) anyway then after this I still felt miserable because of the pain meds they gave me they were making me puke and feel miserable.. so I stopped taking those pretty quick and switched to regular Ibuprofen!! aahhh much better LOL! :) Now I have an appointment on the 9th again.. so we shall see how that goes, because they only put a temporary filling in that day...
On the 14th I have an appointment with the Immigration Office, so we are hoping that things go well and who knows hopefully I will have my papers soon!! I'm definitely not getting my hopes up or getting to excited about it yet.. as a matter or fact I think my wonderful hubby is more excited about it than I am LOL and thinks I will have them pretty quick.. me... well I say if I have them by the end of February we are doing good LOL!! So nope don't get to excited yet!! Hopefully after next monday we will know a little more though!! :)
This past Wednesday I helped a lady here in town take off wall paper for a few hours.. apparently my reputation is preceeding me.. I'm not to excited about it LOL!! removing wallpaper is not on my list of exciting things to do.. LOL! :) Got that done.. and went home and unpacked a few more boxes of stuff.. which makes for finding somethings :) good times!! Friday I always clean house for someone, which isn't a bad thing but I don't get to excited about it either :) but at least it is something to do and it sure beats sitting at home all the time! In the afternoon I went to Aunt Annemarie's to visit my "new" cousin Tyssyna, who is here visiting with her little 8 month old from Iowa! :) haha and then promptly was late to pick John up for work because the clock was off.. Oops!! haha big time Oops!! LOL!! :) it wasn't the first time that happened and won't be the last!!
Saturday was a crazy day!!! In the morning I dropped John off at his parents' and then I went to the Tri-cities to go do some groceries.. and bail Dad out haha :)... Came through Winco pretty unscathed.. LOL! But then hit Costco.... and ummm not so good as usual LOL! Or maybe not as good as I want it to be :) I did find myself two nice tanktops and also a magazine rack.. so that did account for about the $50 extra that I spent there!! :) If it hadn't been for that I would have felt better :) haha! :) but I'm happy about what I got :) Anyway came home quick unpacked and headed down to the In-laws again.. went to a Christmas Craft Fair in the Mall with Mom and Cynthia! It was pretty cool, but nothing that I was like.. ooo I want that LOL good thing too! :p Then we got back there and John and I headed to our place... time to run around and dust my house... since we had company coming... oops haha I forgot one spot and leave it up to James to notice.. LOL! Anyway Tori & Arlen also came that evening.. we had some fun playing Rook! it seems to be the game to play but we really enjoy it!! :) so that was Saturday.. or most of it!! :) Enough info for this post anyway!!! :)
