Finally a desk!!
Well that in itself should tell you that I have a desk! :) LOL :) But a whole story goes with that as well!
Yesterday morning I woke up feeling really crappy... OH NO!! I had the flu bug that Nathan had this past weekend when the family was here :( So I decided that it was the day to stay in bed! Anyway needless to say Mom called me at 8:30 so I jumped out of bed(mistake #1) and not even 15 minutes later.. yup puking... :( anyway than about 3/4 hour later the phone goes again... grrr.. run and answer it again.. it was someone else.. anyway I had a splitting headache to boot and John's mom was going to come pick me up around 10 or so.. so I figured I had better get dressed before she showed up and here would be me laying in bed with practically nothing on... :( LOL :) anyway so got dress did my hair and back to bed I went for a snooze!
At 10 she shows up and yup lo and behold I jumped out of bed for the 3rd time that morning! anyway... I went with her because I had an appointment with the doctor for the Medical Exam.. for Immigration stuff.. I so didn't feel like going and if it had been a regular doc appoint there is no way I would of gone but oh well for this I kinda had to! So I get to their house and seriously sat curled up in a chair the whole time till we left at 12:30.. then I took a quilt along for in the vehicle and slept practically the whole ride there which was about 50 minutes or so... I was so tired.. and I had taken a tylenol before we left for the headache.. which definitely helped!
Get to the doctor.. quick and easy.... then I was feeling quite a bit better so I said to Mom well you and Cynthia might as well go do what you need to do and I will just kinda go along... so we did some shopping. Then we had to head over to the doctors office where John had an appointment and from that appointment to Costco for the desk!
When we got home I seriously was in need of some sleep! I had slept almost the whole way home again.. anyway so off to bed I went.. I had a nice massage which helped for the stiff muscles and this morning I finally got up out of bed at 9:30 feeling quite a bit better! I still don't have a ton of energy but hey give that some time!

My Washing Machine Experience
Ok, so last Friday we went out to buy a washing machine. We got a Samsung, in the end we could get it in White or Blue.. the blue was kinda cool actually. But the sales rep didn't ask what we wanted so we weren't sure.. and I told John I didn't really care so we didn't ask either. Then later looking at the receipt it was the blue one! :)
Anyway we were told it was free delivery that day, and it was the last day that we could get that, so OK fine peeps deliver it for us cause we can't drive back for that with a truck.
FFWD to yesterday: So yesterday I spent all day sitting at home waiting for the deliver guy to call and show up.. finally at 2:30 I had had enough so I got on the phone and called asking what was up. I found out that it had been in the store since the 4th (which makes sense cause we were told we could of had it delivered that day but I wasn't going to be home) Anyway so she (Customer Service) told me it looked like they had said that it should of been delivered by the 5th at the latest. Also according to her it didn't state in the computer that we were having it delivered. :( Then I asked her if I could talk to someone who would have more of an idea what was going on with the deliveries.. OK fine I will put you through to the Delivery Manager.. no answer so I get put back to C.S. so she said that she would tell the Delivery Manager to call me back soon.
Two Hours later, I'm really ticked! because I still havn't gotten a phone call back. So I call the store again. Then same story phone system is totally useless and really hard to figure out who you actually want to get put through to so I had to go through that again.. in the mean time I've spend at least 1/2 hour on the phone in total... anyway so finally back to Customer Service. She tells me oh I will put you through to the Appliances Department and then the will help you (Same as before). So Ok fine whatever.. Talked to the Appliances guy and he says well Delivery Manager has gone home for the day. Well then I was really ticked.. (in the mean time I'm still being nice on the phone cause as a receptionist you hear to many people who get really ticked about stuff and it isn't cool to deal with at all... anyway so I said to him "I think it is disgusting that I have had to spend this much time on the phone for something that should of been done on its own"
I told him that I didn't care anymore if it was free delivery or not but we were going to be coming in that evening to pick it up because I had had enough. Then I also asked him if there was anyway that we would be able to get some sorta rebate because of the hassle. Well you have to talk to the store manager on duty... so fine fine that is what I did! Talked to the manager and he was very understanding but I had to tell him the whole story again... and then he said Ok when you come in tonight come and see me and I will help you out.
We get to the store (and John can just stand there and not say a word. LOL :)!! ) we go to C.S. and as for the Manager on Duty and it is the same guy I talked to on the phone.. so I start telling him what is up. Then he says Oh hey I know I recognize the voice.. LOL :) anyway so I had to tell him everything again.. then he almost didn't give us anything, but as he was turning around to go back to his office I said to him and we are expecting some kind of refund for the hassle that this has been because it is totally uncalled for.. Then he knew I was serious so we got $50 back out of the deal :) Yay!!!
Anyway so we talked to him and then we still had to stand around and wait for a while because they were having issues pulling up the info in the back (again) so what is your phone #.. gave that and he went to the back himself to go deal with it! :) Gotta love a manager like that!
So that was my experience yesterday :(

I'm trying...
but I feel slightly unmotivated to blog at this point.. to much other stuff going on and ya.. hmm what can I say, I just don't know what to post... everyday is about the same.. get up, most mornings go for a walk.. then get back clean and think about unpacking.. sometimes I do some of that.. and then I go over to John's mom & dad's so about typical.. then I go for a swim in the afternoon, wait for John to pick me up and then go home to finish making supper.. that is about the extent of my days! Definitely not exciting enough to blog about all the time!
Anyway, last Friday night we went to Yakima and finally bought a washing machine, (doing laundry elsewhere gets old fast!) which doesn't get delivered till Thursday since I won't be home tomorrow :( Oh well that meant one more time of doing laundry somewhere else. So I've spent most of my morning at Oma's doing it there! Which is where I need to head back to so I can get that done and then I go for my regular afternoon swimming time :) cause unlike in Alberta where you have some rain.. I'm still sitting here in 35 +/- degree weather.. :(
I will be posting pictures of our honeymoon in the next day or so, just so that you can have a peek at where we were and what we did :) Mainly because I know there is some of you out there who can't wait to see some pics! :)

I finally got motivated!
I started unpacking my stuff! It took me a while but then I figured I might as well start putting my clothes in drawers etc. Most of the hanging stuff was already hung :) Can't you tell what is important to me :P Anyway got that done and then started dealing with my books.. at least that got rid of some more boxes! Now I'm really going to have to start looking at everything that I have left and figure things out... other than the fanfreakingtastic 17 boxes that are all Stampin' Up! stuff :(
Trying to Deal with...
.. unpacking! :( well I'm finding out that if I thought packing up was hard I have this feeling now that unpacking is worse! grr... I want my bookcase.. need a desk... and I need storage space to put all my Stampin' Up! stuff :( 17 boxes of it to yet... I should actually take a picture and post it of the piles of boxes that I'm looking at right now, cause let me tell you not cool at all! I will survive somehow though! I should get back to our room and finish unpacking my clothes, just in no mood to after I got back from my walk this morning :(

Back to real life for me...
Well after a week of doing nothing... lets just put it this way I am having a bit of a rough time getting going this morning... LOL ;) John got up at 6:30 (craziness) for work.. and guess what I did... slept till 7:30, pretty much till the minute he walked out of the door to go to work... oops.. :) But at the same time I was tired.. and 6:30 is just crazy early to get up! Who knows eventually what will happen though.
Anyway so I figured I would post on my blog while I contemplated where I should start with all the mess and stuff that I have to deal with :( aaahhh... help me someone :) I think it will probably be the living room and moving the computer somewhere else etc. so ya from there I can go dig in boxes.. or unpack my clothes and put them where I want 'em... oh well off I go... but before I do all I can say is that it is fanfreakintastically hot here already... and it is supposed to be around 35 today...
