Scrapbooking - Vancouver 2011

Here's a digital scrapbook page that I'm working on. I still need to do some journaling but for privacy reasons I didn't want to post the page with all the info I wanted to add to the page. So you are seeing it without... and I may very well be changing it as well. :) If I do I'll post a "take 2"of the page!

MDS: Scrapbooking

So I couldn't resist and just had to use the download I was so excited about this week. The Soft Blooms flowers! Aren't they so neat?? I just love them and am so excited that they are 3 dimensional... I think is just the beginning of all the fun that we will start to see once the MDS 2 comes out.. I think then we will have our socks blown off!  Either way enough typing and here's the page I did.

Digital Scrapbooking

Since I took part of the afternoon off, needing a much needed break... more like a nap, which didn't happen. I decided to work on the "baby's" scrapbook. I've been working on one off and on throughout my pregnancy to record things but kind of fell of the band wagon a little. Since we got maternity pictures taken on Saturday I wanted to include those in baby's album as well, it was an extra incentive to work on doing some this afternoon. I want to share with you a few of the pages that I got done so far.

My Digital Studio: Ribbon Loop technique - scrapbook page

So I shared this technique with you after I got back from Convention. Today I was inspired to try something different using this technique. Namely... making a flower using the Victoria Crochet Trim. I was working on a page for my Yearly Scrapbook. The page was for my brother-in-law and sister-in-laws wedding pictures(or at least a few shots that I had on my camera). She had this Vintage-y feel to her wedding dress. Not as much as it could have been but it made me think of the Crochet Trim right away!

Well enough chit chat, because I know you really want to see what I've come up with! So here it is :D Let me know what you think, and if you are feeling inspired enough to go create something I want to see it.

Isn't this so pretty?!?

Now for the scrapbook page that I came up with. Since that was the main point of creating this flower!

So there you have it. Now off I go to see what else can I can find to be inspired with today.

Digital Scrapbooking!

So I was one of these people who was determined I wasn't going to give in to the digital craze! Well... a few years later when Stampin' Up! came out with their very own digital program, how could I NOT give in and try it out! :) Now I'm not sure how much further down the road we are, but at least over a year, and I'm absolutely in love!  I love the fact that I can take it with me everywhere I go and work on it whenever I have a quick minute. Definitely a lot easier than traditional scrapbooking, that being said I still do traditional but for my yearly books I've decided that I'm going to go digital and for special occasions, like our wedding etc. I'm doing traditional. Anyway here is a few pages that I've finished in this past week that I wanted to share with you!
